# Problem with USB camera on Android

I have an Android 6.0.1 device without camera where a single USB camera has been attached. The camera works fine in other apps on the device, but Wowza GoCoder and GoCoder SDK fails with the error

```auto
An error occured
An exception occurred during camera activation.

```

I found a thread ([http://community.wowza.com/community/questions/7722/wzcamera-failing-on-devices-with-only-one-camera.html](http://community.wowza.com/community/questions/7722/wzcamera-failing-on-devices-with-only-one-camera.html)) from 2016 discussing problems with single camera devices, but is says that this has been solved in a new version of the SDK. I am using updated versions.
