# Problem ingesting live HLS with subtitles

Hello,

I’m trying to ingest live HLS stream with subtitles. Playlist looks like this:  
#EXTM3U  
#EXT-X-VERSION:3  
#EXT-X-INDEPENDENT-SEGMENTS  
#EXT-X-STREAM-INF:BANDWIDTH=10728960,AVERAGE-BANDWIDTH=6811200,RESOLUTION=1920x1080,FRAME-RATE=30.000,CODECS=“avc1.640032,mp4a.40.2”,SUBTITLES=“subtitles”

When I connect the stream I get an error:  
comment server ERROR 500 - empty TagModelMedia.isValid(): Invalid: EXT-X-MEDIA tag contains FORCED attribute while TYPE != SUBTITLES

What does this error mean as FORCED attribue is present only in SUBTITLES?

Currently, WSE can ingest HLS, but if the stream contains captions, it can fail due to the error you cited.

Please submit a support ticket and we can investigate further.
