# Prevent dowloading using IDM

Hi

I am delivering livestreams through RTMP & HLS, even though i use [Secure Token Method](https://www.wowza.com/docs/how-to-add-securetoken-protection-to-jw-player) - I am able to download the livestream using Internet Download Manager (IDM). Kindly help me to prevent users from downloading the Livestream.

Hello there,

Please see the [Media security overview](https://www.wowza.com/docs/media-security-overview) for security options. Using SecureToken and [StreamLock](https://www.wowza.com/docs/how-to-get-ssl-certificates-from-the-streamlock-service) will reduce the risk of anyone getting the content you’re wanting to stream.

Just remove the file exetension from IDM auto grab extension list, IDM will not grab the download link for it.
