# Port 8086 - transcoderthumbnail not working

We have added this line following path

Config file to edit for Wowza Live Stream Thumbnails  
[wowza-install-dir]/conf/VHost.xml

com.wowza.wms.transcoder.httpprovider.HTTPTranscoderThumbnail transcoderthumbnail\* none

and try with [http://172.99.68.223:8086/transcoderthumbnail?application=live&streamname=29\_1550573280000&format=jpeg&size=150\*150](http://172.99.68.223:8086/transcoderthumbnail?application=live&streamname=29_1550573280000&format=jpeg&size=150*150) link

Facing issue is not working. Could you please help resolve the issue.

Hi,

What platform are you running your Wowza server on? If it’s on windows or linux then the thumbnails should work if you have the HttpProvider enabled. If you are running the server on OSX then transcoder isn’t supported so the thumbnails won’t work.
