# Playback Security with Only allow playback from the following is not working with HLS

Hi, I have set **Client Restrictions** \> **Only allow playback from the following IP addresses** with IP’s i replaced the numbers with (xxx)

xxx.221.96._, xxx.33.36._, xxx.123.36._, xxx.123.62._, xxx.12.214._, xxx.31.30._, xxx.49.220._, xxx.187.113.62, xxx.187.113.70, xxx.99.217._, xxx.12.135.\*

It works with only RTMP but with HLS still open to all IP’s

What needs to be done to work with HLS as well ?
