# Playback Control with RTSP and RTMP

Hi,

We have use-cases where our source is an RTSP stream and the target is RTMP.

The incoming video is a playback of recorded video from another system where we can control the playback (pause, seek, etc.) via the RTSP commands.

The video itself is H.264.

Can the WOWZA client control the control the playback (pause, seek, etc.)?

Hi

sorry but tsp client control is not something we offer from a wowza streaming cloud transcoder.

Would you please let me know what exactly you are trying to do?

Is it to moderate vod content with livestreams?

I have que same question, but i need to control the playback via RTSP URIs like seek, speed… These parameters are required to be sent using the URI query string. Can i use Wowza Streaming Engine Java API to send these parameters ?
