# Password reset

Good afternoon, I have a wowza server up and running. I have forgotten the password to the server . can someone help me to delete it and create a new password? would appreciate this much. I need my encoders talking back to server. please help…

Username and password is stored in [install-dir]/conf/admin.password. You can edit this file with a text editor, save and then re-start your Server.
