# Override startPlay

Hi, I’m unable to find anything about overriding the startPlay method:

INFO server comment - MediaStreamMediaCasterPlay: startPlay

Any help would be appreciated!

EDIT: Never mind, I figured it out. How can I delete this post? Thank you

Thanks for the update and we are glad you got this figured out.

If anyone else is looking for this, there are many examples for overriding play on the [All Articles](https://www.wowza.com/docs/) page. You can use your browsers search function with “override” to find them.
