# Outbound Streams

I am having a problem with my outbound streams working outside of my network …they are .m3u8 streams and work fine inside of network…help!

This is likely a NAT and/or port forwarding issue. We have an article on how to diagnose problems with Wowza Streaming Engine. I have linked to the network section of that article below.

Depending upon your network connection you may not be able to access your content internally when you try to connect to the external DNS or IP address. If that is the case then please consult your network administrator for direction.
