# option cupertinoAllowCaching ignored in current wowza version

Am I right that

[https://www.wowza.com/docs/how-to-control-apple-hls-client-caching-ext-x-allow-cache](https://www.wowza.com/docs/how-to-control-apple-hls-client-caching-ext-x-allow-cache) is obsoleted and wowza will not add

#EXT-X-ALLOW-CACHE to chunklist in any case ?
