# Not getting new chunks in the chunk list while playing SMIL URL of DVR content

We are facing one issue while playing back DVR content using SMIL URL. For adaptive bitrate streaming of DVR content we have created SMIL file & if we play SMIL URL from the client, we are getting incomplete chunk list & also chunk list not getting updated for the new chunks. In this case video plays till the chunk we got at the time of starting video & its get stop after consuming those chunks. But if we play single DVR stream URL from the client, we are getting proper chunk list & its getting updated for the new chunks from the wowza server.

Need your help to resolve this chunk list issue we are facing in the SMIL URL which we are using for adaptive bitrate streaming.

SMIL URL : http://\<wowza\_server\>:1935/dvrorigin/_definst_/smil:test.smil/playlist.m3u8?DVR

SMIL contents:

Single Stream URL : http://\<wowza\_server\>:1935/dvrorigin/_definst_/stream1/playlist.m3u8?DVR

Hi,

Unfortunately it’s difficult to say exactly what the issue may be from what’s been provided. I would recommend that you [open a support ticket](https://www.wowza.com/support/open-ticket) with us. Please include a zip of your /conf, /logs, /transcoder and /manager /content/smil-files and any other detail that will help us to troubleshoot/reproduce. You may also want to look at [this article](https://www.wowza.com/forums/showthread.php?20435-How-to-debug-DVR-ABR-stream-alignment) on checking DVR keyframe alignment to check that the ABR source looks good.
