# Non-wowza orgin to wowza edge

I have configured a edge server on AWS with an instance name of “live” I am trying to pull from my non-wowza orgin (API needs I have) however wowza wants to pull with that darn _definst_ in there.

Is there a way I can get rid of that so it pulls like a typical stream (IE other live streams being pulled directly from a player)
