# Need url similar to https://SOME\_IDENTIFIER.streamlock.net/INSTITUTE\_NAME/VIDEO\_NAME/playlist.m3u8

Hi,

I was checking some website which uses wowza for VOD, found video urls in the format as below -

https://\<SOME\_IDENTIFIER\>.streamlock.net/\<INSTITUTE\_NAME\>/\<VIDEO\_NAME\>/playlist.m3u8

How do I get URLs like above, bcz I checked locally by installing Wowza streaming server, it gave me url like -

[http://192.168.0.101:1935/vod/mp4:sample.mp4/playlist.m3u8](http://192.168.0.101:1935/vod/mp4:sample.mp4/playlist.m3u8)

The only url format we support is the one you listed from the Wowza server. Perhaps their’s is not showing the full url since streamlock is a security option meant to protect from accessing their IP urls.
