There is no need to reset anything. It should work just fine everyday.

Hi,

You could try configuring the MediaCaster Stream Monitor, under the properties section for your application in the Manager interface.

There you can adjust timeouts and tolerances for both video and audio, and when detected and reached the stream is automatically reset.

Hi,

If you’re streaming using an RTMP source then, unfortunately, the MediaCaster Stream Monitor won’t help in this case.

What encoder are you using? Do yu know if there are any network problems between the encoder and server?

Hi

My source is rtsp and using ip cam which is h.264. I found the outgoing format of RTMP will different with others. It will freeze in the first frame when connect after a long period, at say 12 hours. I need to reset the streaming. Then it seems run smooth again.

Thanks again
