# Need real help for a newbie

Hello to Everyone!

This is my first time entering into video and streaming field

also I don’t have any background on streaming or restream

I’m asking some one to give me easy to understand help:

how can I re-stream a http link (hls)

example

[http://192.168.1.15:3000/api/abcd/1.m3u8](http://192.168.1.15:3000/api/abcd/1.m3u8)

I installed the wowza on my server and I’m trying my best to re-stream

it will be great help if you can suggest a any video or youtube I can follow.

I have no experience with programming or servers, so I am really struggling. Help would be really appreciated!

Hi,

Wowza doesn’t support the ingest of HTTP video streams which is why you have been unable to re-stream it.

Please see our [Specifications page](https://www.wowza.com/products/streaming-engine/specifications) for details of supported streams for ingest.

We have tutorials for live streaming which can be found below if you’re able to change the source.
