I am pushing 3 streams (same content different bit rates) into a WOWZA EC2 Streaming Engine 4 Server. I have nDVR enabled, and I have a smile file combining all three streams for playback with my JW Player Enterprise Ads player.

I am having an issue with getting the player to start at the current LIVE point. It usually loads 3 to 5 minutes behind live.

Is there a reason for this? Simple fix? Need more info?

Thanks in advance!

Hi,

Did you configure your Wowza nDVR addon according to the “[How to set up and run Wowza nDVR for live streaming](https://www.wowza.com/docs/how-to-set-up-and-run-wowza-ndvr-for-live-streaming)” form article?

What id the DVR window duration setting you are using? Using a large window duration setting will generate a large DVR descriptor file containing all the information for the DVR chunks for the entire window. Some player might find it difficult to read such a large descriptor file.

Zoran
