# nDVR for selected streams only

Hello,

I’m trying to find out how to start nDVR recording for selected streams only.

There is an option “Start recording on startup” in nDVR setup. It is enabled by default.

So, if there is such option available, then it is logical that there should be a way to enable DVR recording for the live stream later.

Can someone give me some suggestions how to do this?

Hi,

The module [ModuleDvrRecorderControl](https://www.wowza.com/docs/how-to-control-which-streams-get-recorded-by-the-ndvr-recorder-moduledvrrecordercontrol) can be used to select which streams to enable nDVR on.
