# media cache source question

Hello,

I wonder if there is any option to use, in the base path in media cache source, a path to my NAS storage?

example: “\myNASname\videos”.

Hi there. Yes, you can use a NAS file source

Please take a look at the MediaCache guide, particularly at the [“Add Source”](https://www.wowza.com/docs/how-to-scale-video-on-demand-streaming-with-media-cache#mediacacheconf_sources) section.
