# Manager Service Will Not Start After 4.7.7 Update

I just updated from 4.7.6 to 4.7.7 and now the manager service will not start. All of my streams are working properly but I cannot login into the manager in a browser. Starting the service shows an OK update but then the status shows as stopped. What is going on?

I have figured this out and it appears that the latest version requires Java 1.8. I had 1.7 installed and had to update.
