I would like to use wowza player to play ultra low latency dash livestream (platform: not mobile).
I have the mpd file. I would like to know whether a manifest file
needs to conform to some specific format to play low latency or can a player
that plays low latency (like wowza player) play the stream in low latency irrespective of additionaly information needed within the mpd file.

Note that the mpd file can be used to play videos with latency of 20-30seconds already.

HI Michael - Just so you are aware we announced an end of life plan for Wowza Player in April. Please see our [notification](https://info.wowza.com/product-notification-april-2020) for more info. If you are still looking for an answer to this, or would like to discuss alternatives, I would recommend submitting a support ticket.
