# Livestream through OBS without a two step "start stream" process

As [this video](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HmD3BDoOY4s) ([https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HmD3BDoOY4s](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HmD3BDoOY4s)) makes it evident, streaming with OBS and Wowza Cloud requires two steps (even after configuration):

1. Click “Start Live Stream” in Wowza Cloud
2. Click “Start streaming” in OBS

Is there any way to consolidate these two steps into one?

Is it possible for Wowza Cloud to start the stream automatically when it gets data from a started OBS stream?

It is possible [@Lansana Camara](http://community.wowza.com/community/questions/52188/livestream-through-obs-without-a-two-step-start-st.html#) when you use the stream scheduler. You would need to enter some settings regarding OBS as the source encoder.

Lansana,

If you create a Wowza Stream Source and follow the details [in this recent article](https://www.wowza.com/docs/control-a-transcoder-with-a-wowza-stream-source-using-the-wowza-streaming-cloud-rest-api), when you start streaming with OBS, it will automatically start the live stream instance for you without having to manually start it. One simple step.
