# Live Streaming is not working on Android

Hello, I Manage to setup my new Wowza 3 Server and was able to successfully run the live streaming via RTMP. But found difficulties to play on Android OS. iPhone and iPad is working properly. Please help me to sort this issue.

Have you got a firewall that stops traffic over UDP?

Some mobile phone providers don’t allow the use of UDP which you would have to take up with your phone provider.

Does the stream play with VLC?

I did everything listed on relevant link.

Yes I got a firewall, port 554 (in/out) allowed, UDP in/out 0:65535 allowed. Funny thing I had a another server installed wowza 3 with same configuration and it was working perfectly on android.

Hi

Is this the same android phone that works on the other server?

If it’s not the same phone and you temporarily turn off the fire wall do you get a connection?

Please remember to turn the firewall back on immediately after testing!
