# live stream publish

In the old version of wowza 4.1.2 we no need to click on the connect to the stream button after restarting wowza which make make the camera to stream, but in the new version wowza 4.5 after restarting I need to go to the _Strem Files_ in the application live tab and then click on the connect to stream button to make the camera to start the recording. Is there any other way to make it automatically do by wowza instead by doing manually. If so please give a solution, as its urgent for me.🙂

Hello,

Yes, you can select the .stream in

[wowza-install-dir]/conf/StartupStreams.xml

i.e.

live/_definst_

mpegts.stream

rtp

Please restart your Wowza Server when making changes.
