# live stream object detection?

Does anyone have any suggestions for solutions that offer object detection in a live stream, and then overlays of detected objects? We have a wowza streaming engine instance and a web server where live streams can be viewed, and would like to integrate in object detection capability. Anyone done this or know of tools/software that can do so?

Hi @Brian Barris, I know of a 3rd party facial recognition [here](https://apiant.com/connect/Wowza-REST-to-AlchemyAPI-Face-Detection-and-Recognition-Image) and I have also heard of a Google object recogntition API called TensorFlow which you can read about [here](https://medium.com/iotforall/tutorial-implement-object-recognition-on-live-stream-cc384f8556cc).

Wowza has never tested with either of these, so they are just 3rd party suggestions that we do not support. I hope that helps you get started though in your research.
