Hello! possible to to form the “HLS” stream without transcoding in wowza? Input: udp mpeg-ts (mpeg2 video and audio) m3g8 file is generated but the video is not working. ☹ work only rtsp output. Please help. ---

HLS requires h264+aac so indeed you have to transcode your streams first. Either change your encoder, or transcode with ffmpeg or wowza transcoder add-on. ---

Hello, To confirm you set up a Mediacaster Startup Streams? [https://www.wowza.com/resources/WowzaStreamingEngine\_UsersGuide.pdf](https://www.wowza.com/resources/WowzaStreamingEngine_UsersGuide.pdf) (page 53). If so, I would recommend opening a [support case](https://www.wowza.com/support/open-ticket) for further review. Please send details about your source and the below folders. The playback devices that use Apple HLS do not support MPEG2 so the stream(s) need to be transcoded to use the supported codecs. Hello! I can not make a request to the support, I am using a trial version. all made under the instruction. HLS output only works when the transcoding. If enable transcoding work all outputs. Without transcoding is only rtsp output (input udp://239.0.0.1:1234 , mpeg2 codec, mpeg-ts). All output enabled. P.S: apologize my English, i use on Google Translate
