I’ve created one sample App following [authentication for Flash RTMP client using JDBC connection to MySQL database](https://www.wowza.com/docs/how-to-do-user-authentication-for-flash-rtmp-client-using-jdbc-connection-to-mysql-database) tutorial, but seems not to working for me. So I’m not even sure how to setup environment for proper debugging.

I’m on linux, and I imagine that I need to run module in Eclipse, and then I can use Test player in wowza enginemanager. Is this correct? Could anyone point me in the right direction to setup debugging environment, because now when I set breakpoints in eclipse, it doesn’t work at all.

Thank you

Hello there.

Wowza provides an Eclipse plugin for extending Wowza with Java:

[Wowza IDE User Guide](https://www.wowza.com/uploads/developers/WowzaIDE_UsersGuide.pdf)

For information about using Eclipse in general, you will need to find other tutorials as this forum is dedicated to Wowza questions.
