I would like to know if wowza 4.0.4 supports jumbo frames. When streaming rtsp multicast video using wowza we see that the packets being sent have a length of 1372.

Is there some way to increase the MTU of the packets to 8k (which means using jumbo frames)?

Hi,

Wowza doesn’t specifically support jumbo frames. The MTU is determined at a lower level than within Wowza. The Ethernet standard of 1500-byte MTU frames ensures compatibility for the vast majority of network traffic.
