# Is it normal to have high CPU usage with no connections?

I just noticed in the Server Monitor the CPU usage is almost 50% with virtually no connections.

If i restart Wowza the CPU usage goes to 0. Normally each streaming connection uses 2% of the CPU.

Are there settings i should change?
