# Intel Quick Transcoding on Windows 7/10

Hello,
I am not able to search any article/tutorial on wowza forum for setting up Intel quick sync transcoding on Windows 7 /Windows 10 having Intel Xeon E3 1585L V5 processor.

Hello @RAJESH Kumar
On a Windows system there is nothing really to do to enable quick sync. It should be enabled if the CPU supports quick sync.
If you are running Wowza as a windows service though, check [this](https://www.wowza.com/docs/How-to-enable-hardware-accelerated-transcoding-when-running-as-a-Windows-service) article on how to enable quick sync in that situation.
You can get the CPU specifications that are required for QuickSync [here](https://www.wowza.com/docs/server-specifications-for-intel-quick-sync-acceleration-with-wowza-transcoder).
