# Icecast's mp3 output to be restream with AAC encoding

Hi,

We are running licensed Wowza Streaming Engine (version 4.1.2.) and we want to restream an Icecast MP3 stream and ALSO transcode it to AAC.

For this, we have created live application and stream file with shoutcast as Mediacaster Type. attached screenshot for your reference.

But i am not able to find the way to encode this with aac audio only.

Can anyone please help me out?

( As, i have to play RTSP link on Android devices but without aac encoding i am not able to play this re-stream RTSP link on Android )

Finally we get it working 🙂

Steps to be follow:

1] Select your Application

2] Enable Transcoder
