# I am trying to recover the configuration of a sertver to migrate to a new server

old server was setup with an account that was stoped and the owner has passed loading new key cleared settings or they were lost at some other point

Hi,
If you still have access to the old server, you may be able to navigate to the Wowza Streaming Engine program folder and make a copy the `applications`, `conf` and `content` folders. You should then be able to use the info in these folders to recreate the configurations on the new server.
You should be able to copy the folders over completely however, you should make sure the Wowza services are stopped and also back up the old folders first.
