# Http 404 error VLC

I am having this problem in the broadcast stream. Broadcasting over VLC gives this warning after a while. But when I play VLC again it opens.

Hello Onur,

Can you provide more details about your Wowza workflow and how you are “broadcasting over VLC”?

Based on that error you are seeing it seems like VLC has some kind of HTTP module that is not present, so may want to check with that first.

I watch my broadcast as http: // wowza-ip-address: 1935 / stream / stream.smil / playlist.m3u8 but the broadcast gives this error 2-3 hours later. When I restart the player, I can watch the broadcast.
