# How to use VBR in Wowza Streaming engine in App end(iOS & Android)

we are using VBR in OBS for streaming and its working fine …but in app end we are not getting any reference, how to configure VBR in wowza streaming engine both for iOS and Android . Please provide some solution

Hi Scott,

Thanks for posting this question on the forum. Note that you can set Wowza’s Transcoder to CBR or VBR: [http://thewowza.guru/constant-bitrate-on-transcoder/](http://thewowza.guru/constant-bitrate-on-transcoder/)
