Is this what you see in rtsp playback using VLC when the stream does contain b-frames? Or are you asking how to add b-frames to solve this playback issue?

Do you see the problem in Flash RTMP playback?

b-frames in Wowza can be problematic. They are not necessarily a problem, but they can be.

You have to do this with your file encoder, but this is adding complexity to the stream which might make playback more difficult in some players. You’ll have to test. We do have a [guide for file encoding for vod here](https://www.wowza.com/docs/how-to-encode-video-on-demand-content).

I am asking how to add b-frames to solve this playback issue.
