# How to set "Record all incoming streams" when creating an application via via REST Api?

Hi Jean,

You will need to set your streamType to “live-record” instead of “live” in order to enable this option via the REST API.

```auto
   "streamConfig": {
      "streamType": "live-record"
   }

```
