# How to re-stream HLS ?

Hello everyone,

I can re-stream rtmp from another server well, but i can’t do it with http (HLS) . Do i have to use Transcoder AddOn in this case? Video Transcoding Live Application works well!

I am not sure what you are trying to do here, but you can take a look at this guide:

[How to re-stream an unprotected stream from Adobe Media Server or a CDN](https://www.wowza.com/docs/how-to-re-stream-an-unprotected-stream-from-adobe-media-server-or-a-cdn)

**NOTE:** _HTTP ingress is only supported for ShoutCast streams, the guide I linked to is limited to re-streaming the RTMP stream._

If this does not answer your question, could you please provide more detail about your particular use case?

Salvadore, thank for your answer. I mean, I can re-stream rtmp, rtsp, udp to HLS or something like this and can’t do it with HLS.

This is works perfectly on IP Video Transcoding Live application. I’m using the developing license for wowza
