I will try again maybe it will start working

Hi Charlie,
In this tread has a different instruction than in the QuickStart Guide, more specific in the “AllPlayer Technologies”, point 7.
http://wowza.com/quickstart.html#live-shoutcast
What are the correct instruction?
Thanks in advance.
Ale
Richard,

What is the correct Stream Type? that I need use for stream to all the protocols?
Thanks
Ale
Hi Extreme,
This error normally have relation with Incorrect file format or Stream.
Can you show the content of your mp3demo2.stream? you are doing relay from a Shoutcast server?
Regards,
Ale
Charlie,
Has the issue with Nokia (is it all symbian phones?) playing an RTSP stream been resolved yet?
Tim.
Hi all,
Someone know if it’s work now with the Wowza Media Server 2. I have tried with a Nokia N77 and N82, and i can’t see the rstp stream.
Thank’s in advance!
Hi Charly,
Thank’s, I will try your patch. I will give you a feedback.
I can play the stream with VLC.
Unfortunately, the patch didn’t resolve the problem. I have the same error with both Nokia. I have tried different low profile.
Another thing, i can’t see anymore the streams with Silverlight. Can this problem come from the patch?
I’m doing Silverlight Live. I have updated the player but it doesn’t work.
hi guyz, i have a problem with the rtsp for mobile players
i testet the tutorial above and it works fine on the iphone but when i try with a nokia (symbian soft) i get disconnected and wowza says the following:

Hi,
In streams properties:
3 .Set the Streams/StreamType property to: live
Should it be “live” or “shoutcast” (this being a shoutcast-restreaming application?
Also, is it possible to use inside Pull-from-shoutcast -> restream to iphone application the aliases module?
Thanks a lot,
Alex
Hi,
Is there, or does anybody knows a way to re-stream shoutcast audio so it would play on a desktop mac, using itunes radiostation player? I’ve successfully managed to play the stream in vlc and in iphone’s safari, but the same stream probably won’t work on desktop safari or itunes. Maybe there’s a way to do that with custom pls file?
Thanks a lot,
Alex
Is also possible to grab the audio stream and stream it to an icecast server?
Hi,
I have followed this guide but am prompted with the following error, i’m unsure of how to continue:
WARN server comment mp3demo2.stream MediaReaderH264.open[2]: java.lang.Exception: QTUtils.parseQTMediaContainer: File is missing ‘moov’ atom.
ERROR server comment - MediaReaderH264Cupertino.indexFile:java.lang.NullPointerException
Hi,
Thanks for your reply, the stream is through shoutcast - the contents being the following:
http://66.90.104.245:8062/
I’ve followed the guide directly from here (all player technologies) which suggests to use the “live” option instead of shoutcast. If i use the shoutcast streamtype with appropriate configuration, the playlist file that is generated still remains empty.
Please advise, thank you.
Might be the time you are listening, the stream is currently active with 60 listeners as we speak hmm…
The way Wowza is configured is each customer is configured with their own application, maybe this is incorrect but this seemed the most flexible method (also to control listeners and a few other items).
The application is labelled mp3demo as “live” exactly as described in the article with a file called mp3demo.stream in the content/ directory. After starting the stream from Stream manager as “mp3demo.stream” and attempting to open the following address from an iphone (with wowa-address replaced)
http://[wowza-address]:1935/mp3demo/mp3demo.stream/playlist.m3u8 that error is presented through the java console with an empty playlist provided to the iphone.
