# How to Live Audio Stream from browser?

Hi,

I am pretty new to streaming and trying to understand the browser support to streaming.

I have a requirement of capturing live audio from browser(Without any client side software installation) and stream it to Wowza media server (Kind of live-radio).

Was able to find javascript libraries to record audio but not live stream.

Can you please point me to any such javascript libraries?

Hi,

You would need some sort of library to publish the stream to Wowza. You can see what encoder inputs Wowza will accept on the [specifications page](https://www.wowza.com/products/streaming-engine/specifications). If it is audio only then setting up a [Shoutcast server](https://www.wowza.com/docs/how-to-re-stream-audio-from-shoutcast-icecast) may fit the bill, though please note that how you configure Shoutcast is outside of our support offering.
