# How to invoke custom method in Wowza server-side module using REST API?

Is there any way now on REST API to be able to invoke a method inside my custom module in wowza server side application using PHP-CURL?

We don’t have a way to do this right now through the REST API to call custom modules- server side. You could do this with an HTTP provider, but I don’t have any official Wowza documentation to share with you. You could submit a [support ticket](https://www.wowza.com/support/open-ticket) if you like our engineers to try and test this with you.

In the meantime, you can develop your own module classes—and custom methods—using the Wowza IDE.
