# How to generate facebook token for Wowza rest API to create facebook target.

I want to create dynamic facebook target through the Wowza REST API, but I am getting internal server error while opening the target option after creating the target using REST API.

I have created facebook access token by using facebook token explore tools itself.

I had tried with both user access token and app token of facebook.

Please let me know if you have any clue regarding the same.

Thanks @Jamsheer Thottathil for sharing this. Can you please share the error code you are receiving?

Also, just making sure you did these two things already ( this is from our Wowza Docs):

**When using the REST API to configure Wowza Streaming Engine to send a stream to Facebook Live, you must first use an external Facebook application that you’re developing to acquire a Facebook access token. Note the following requirements for the external Facebook application:**

- **The app must have the required user and account permissions to post live videos to Facebook Live.**
- **The app’s Require App Secret option must be disabled.**
