# How to Convert timed metadata from AMF to ID3 for CMAF (LL-HLS)

Hello,

We have a custom wowza module based on this [https://www.wowza.com/docs/how-to-convert-timed-metadata-from-amf-to-id3-using-the-wowza-streaming-engine-java-api](https://www.wowza.com/docs/how-to-convert-timed-metadata-from-amf-to-id3-using-the-wowza-streaming-engine-java-api) .  
We use it to pull AMF data out of the inbound rtmp stream and inject it as ID3 into the outbound HLS stream.  
We are migrating from HLS to LL-HLS.

Are there any examples of how to do this with the CMAF engine (rather than cupertino).

I do not believe timed metadata or captions are supported by LL-HLS. (At least last I knew in 2021)

Maybe someone from Wowza can confirm.
