# How to configure Transcoder for Amazon s3 videos in VOD Edge application

Why transcoder option is not visible here.As I can see it’s available only for Live Application.

Please let me know whether VOD Edge supports Wowza Transcoder option or not.

From wowza documentation transcoder only for live streaming application but for VOD you can use ffmpeg to transcode your source. #CMIIW
