# How to configure authentication with kerberos?

Hello everyone.  
I need to integrate the Wowza server to the administration of my Kerberos user system.  
Is there any guide to do this? Has anyone done this?

It depends on what you need to integrate. Do you mean access to the Wowza Engine Manager website or the REST API, or authentication for publishing or viewing streams? It’s been a while since I looked into specifically authentication of WSE, but supposedly you can make it work with a custom plug-in.

I want to let you know we do have a feature request for integrating the Kerberos user system to authenticate the Wowza streaming engine. At this time I can’t confirm if the feature will be approved and if so, any time-scales for its availability. Please do check back in periodically to our Software Updates page to see if your feature request has been deployed.
