# How to change the name of master playlist

I am publishing a HLS live stream. And the master playlist name is chunkedlist.m3u8 by default. Is there a way I can rename it. Any override tags?

Hello,

Currently, we do not have a way for you to “hard code” your playlist name in Wowza Streaming Engine. I have submitted a backlog request on your behalf for this feature today. You can create a playback url and use any name in place of the “playlist” portion.
