# How to add ID3 Tagt in live streaming.

Also i would like to know how get id3 tags on client side using javascript or any other way.

i want my ppt to change on ios … any solution that you can give will be appreciated. But it shoud be for live streaming.

Hi

This is how to initially [inject cue points](https://www.wowza.com/docs/how-to-inject-cue-points-or-metadata) into a live stream

You would then follow that by [converting the cue points into ID3 tags.](https://www.wowza.com/docs/how-to-convert-ontextdata-events-in-a-live-or-vod-stream-to-timed-events-id3-tags-in-an-apple-hls-stream%28ID3-tags%29-in-an-Apple-HLS-stream)

The final [guide here](https://www.wowza.com/docs/how-to-debug-timed-data-events-id3-tags-from-apple-hls-streams-in-ios-devices%28ID3-tags%29) is intended as an aid to debugging the id3 tags, but could be used as a starting point to help build a solution that makes use of the present tags.

Hi,

We don’t really have anything detailed that describes how to do this, but this [ID3 tag testing guide](https://www.wowza.com/docs/how-to-debug-timed-data-events-id3-tags-from-apple-hls-streams-in-ios-devices%28ID3-tags%29-from-Apple-HLS-streams-in-iOS-devices) goes some of the way.

im able to inject id3 tags in the live http stream. i can also see that in my logs. can you please tell me how to retrieve id3 tags on ios 8
