# How many streams from IP-cameras?

Hello! How many streams from IP-cameras can be connected on to Wowza Streaming Engine? I didn’t find definite answer to this question in documentation for a product. Thank you!

It’s not possible to get a universal answer to such a question. It all depends on the available resources (network, servers) and the characteristics of the camera streams (bitrate, codecs, etc.). The only way to be sure however, is to test yourself.
