Wowza does not impose a hard limit on connections, CPU or bandwidth. Wowza can handle as many connections and streams as your server and network can handle. The determining factor is usually bandwidth.

Hi,

I recommend the hardware meets the minimum server requirements listed under [System Requirements](https://www.wowza.com/products/streaming-engine/specifications).

If you’re wanting to use other features such as transcoding, you will need to check that the hardware you use is powerful enough to do the transcoding as this is a high CPU intensive process.
