# How Do I stream a recorded video from Youtube?

I live stream from my iPhone and I want to throw in some prerecorded video now and then. How do I do that? The ideal way would be to patch in my prerecorded video on youtube or i could just have the files on my computer. What would be the easiest way to patch in the videos?

I doubt if it’ll work to load a video from YouTube and play that as a Live stream through Wowza. It’s easier if you have the pre-recorded MP4 files on the same server as where you have Wowza, e.g. in the /content folder. Then you can use the stream publisher from [https://github.com/WowzaMediaSystems/wse-plugin-streampublisher](https://github.com/WowzaMediaSystems/wse-plugin-streampublisher) to create your own “TV channel” with a program (playlist) that is a mix of the Live stream from your iPhone, and the pre-recorded streams from disk.
