# How do I set the prefix for the s3 stream target?

We are configuring an abr stream target for s3 as per the docs (send-apple-hls-and-mpeg-dash-content-to-amazon-s3-using-wowza-streaming-engine)

However, we cannot seem to work out how to add a prefix to the path.  
I.e. instead of the recording going to /myStream\_1440p/playlist.m3u8 I want it to go to /recordings/live/myStream\_1440p/playlist.m3u8

Thanks for reaching out to the Wowza community.

There’s a parameter called `cloudstorage.bucketRootPath` that should allow you to make the changes you want. If you’re unable to get this working, please open a [Support Ticket](https://portal.wowza.com/account/support) so we can help you further.

Unfortunately, this isn’t documented at the moment so I’m unable to provide any articles or examples. However, I’ll follow up internally with our Documentation Team and hopefully, this will get added to the documentation soon.
