# How do I change HLS streaming port?

Hi all,

The RTMP streaming port is 1935 (default) and the HLS streaming port is 80 (default). How do I change the HLS streaming port to 8134 for example?

There is guidance on adding a port in the [QuickStart guide](https://www.wowza.com/docs/how-to-install-and-configure-wowza-streaming-engine#openPorts)

Then you must use that port explicitly in your playback URLs
